Temperature is only the first column
The listed August mean temperature is 22.3°C in Sapporo and 29.0°C in both Osaka and Naha. Fukuoka and Naha have higher precipitation normals than the other stations in this table, while Osaka has the highest sunshine-duration total. Those patterns sit alongside—not underneath—the temperature comparison.
Monthly normals can reveal long-run contrasts without claiming which city a person should choose. For a different month or pair of cities, use the site’s interactive reference rather than applying this one table beyond its scope.
